ADRA Emergency Management

Under the Western Australian Disaster plan, WESTPLAN-WELFARE, ADRA (the Seventh-day Adventist church) has responsibility for organising accommodation for disaster affected persons, evacuees and emergency service workers. The ADRA Emergency Management Program also has the responsibility of maintaining a database of all possible State Welfare Centre sites throughout WA.

ADRA's Emergency Management Program in WA is being systematically rolled out across the state. Currently, the program has coverage in the Perth metropolitan area, the South West, Great Southern, and Goldfields - Esperance regional areas.

This website has been developed to resource volunteer and team leaders to successfully do their part. Training is available on CD-rom and USB stick.

The package also contains the Stationery used, a Directory of Area Coordinators and Local Team Leaders.

It is in the process of containing Accommodation Databases.

The goal of this package is to build resilience and robustness into our system through trained people with shared information.
